Services

The XPRT ANALYTICAL SERVICES Corporation team is composed of highly qualified and experienced technical staff providing expert analysis and testing services for its clients.

XPRT ANALYTICAL SERVICES Corporation is established to assist pharmaceutical companies, researchers and other industries on their various laboratory needs:

Product Assay
Active components and Raw materials

Instruments used:

  • HPLC
  • UV-Vis Spectroscopy

Sub component under Active components and Raw materials

HPLC Testing

Our laboratory offers HPLC tests for separation, identification, and quantification of active ingredients in finished pharmaceutical and other sample matrices. We also offer potency assay for raw materials.

UV-Vis Spectrophotometry

UV-Vis Spectrophotometry involves measuring the amount of ultraviolet or visible radiation absorbed by a substance in a solution.

This is one of the most frequently employed methods used in the pharmaceutical, veterinary, food, and other industries.

Dissolution Test

In the pharmaceutical industry, drug dissolution testing is performed primarily to determine the in vitro release of a drug from its finished dosage form.

Stability Study/Testing

XPRT offers accelerated and long-term stability testing services to pharmaceutical industries.

Stability testing is to provide evidence of how the quality of a drug substance or a drug product varies with time under the influence of a variety of environmental factors, such as temperature, humidity, and light. This study establishes the shelf-life of the drug product.

Biowaiver

Biopharmaceutical Classification System or BCS-based Biowaiver Test is an alternative to in-vivo Bioequivalence study. It employs dissolution profiling of immediate-release solid dosages that meets the requirement for a BCS-based Biowaiver testing.

Method Development and Validation

XPRT Analytical Services Corporation offers HPLC Analytical Method Development and Validation for the analysis of active ingredients in different sample matrices.

Method Development

It is the process of selecting an accurate assay procedure to determine the composition of a formulation. It is the process of proving that an analytical method is acceptable for use in laboratory to measure the concentration of subsequent samples. Analytical methods should be used within GMP and GLP environments and must be developed using the protocols and acceptance criteria set out in the ICH guidelines Q2 (R1).

Method Validation

Method validation is a process by which it is established, through laboratory studies, that the performance characteristics of a method meet the requirements for its intended analytical applications.

Titrimetric Analysis

This is the treatment of a soluble substance, contained in solution in a suitable vessel (the titrate), with an appropriate standardized solution (the titrant), the endpoint being determined instrumentally or visually with the aid of a suitable indicator.

pH Testing

Commonly used to test both raw materials and finished products, pH is defined as the value given by a suitable, properly standardized, potentiometric instrument (pH meter) capable of reproducing pH values to 0.02 pH unit using an indicator electrode sensitive to hydrogen-ion activity, the glass electrode, and a suitable reference electrode. Since pH affects parameters such as product stability, taste, degradation, and even color. The specification is critical for some raw materials, as well as finished products.

Hardness Test

Hardness test measures crushing strength property defined as the compressional force applied diametrically to a tablet, which fractures it. This determines the structural integrity of the tablet prior to storage, transportation, and handling before usage.
